Arredondo, Cuban journalist and economist, owned a daily newspaper in Havana. He studied Cuba's economy and served as head of the Departamento de Economía in 1958. Arredondo went into exile in 1960 and was professor of agricultural economics in Santo Domingo, he later moved to Miami where he was active in professional and political organizations.
